Pattern Suggestions for Misti Alpaca below

By Miriam Felton

"Adamas" in Greek means indomitable or untamable. This name was given to diamonds because of their ability to scratch anything, while not being scratched themselves. The diamond motif in this shawl was adapted from the pattern for a bread cloth in Sophia Caulfeild's Dictionary of Needlework, first published in 1882."- MF

This is a very delicate scarf that can be used in many ways. The buttons make it versatile to fit any wardrobe. There are so many different ways to wear it.

You can even lace ribbon through the eyelets and make it a hood to flatter your Fall outfits.

"This shawl was inspired by Estonian lace and especially the beautiful shawl, Laminaria, by Elizabeth Freeman. This shawl also shares the blossom stitch with that shawl. The border is inspired by various designs." JJ

This cardigan would be ideal for a first sweater.
Or even for an experienced knitter who needs a simple knit. Toggle Buttons would be a perfect compliment to it.
"An easy, cute baby cardigan designed in 3 sizes. Top-raglan construction makes this a completely seamless design, perfect for your first sweater project."

"A hoodie with a youthful edge, Corona is comfy, cozy and sexy all in one. A virtually seamless design creates a less fuss knit" Teresa Gregorio

It is worked sideways with one skein of fingering weight yarn. The result is slightly asymmetric triangle with modern feel and lightness.
The pattern is designed to use one skein of solid or semi-solid yarn, but the size is easily adjustable to any yardage. If you want a larger shawl you can do as many body section and/or border section repeats your yardage allows or until you have reached desired size.
Like all my designs this pattern is perfect to show off hand dyed yarn. But other yarns will work also.

This beautiful pattern is only $4.80

Diving in... your stash! Remember these pretty leftovers? or these 2 skeins that are just a bit too short each for a nice sized shawl? well, here is an idea!

There is NO purling in this shawl. Only knit stitches.
