Cable Me a Pumpkin
Hat

By Hannah NeCamp

This is a cute little pattern for baby! Just in time for fall!
Just like the ridges in a pumpkin, the cables in this hat give it the look of an actual pumpkin! Interesting enough to capture your attention, easy enough for a beginner in cables. :)

"Eagle Twist is a top down shawl, with a long wingspan and a shallow depth, making it a very unisex design.
A gentle cable running down the centre gives this design it's unique look.
Easy repeating sections make this a quick knit in any sport weight yarn.
The pattern could easily be adjusted for sock weight yarn by adding more garter rows in the last garter stripe section for an equal size wingspan. Pick 2 contrasting colors and have a fun knit!"

"This rectangular scarf was designed to celebrate both Madrona Fiber Arts 15th Anniversary Retreat in 2014 and the tree for which the conference is named.
Like the Madronas native to the Pacific Northwest, this scarf has leaves and berries. It is knit from end to end, and the asymmetrical patterning includes a 10-stitch leaf repeat to customize the width. An option is given to add beads between the motifs and at the symmetrically scalloped ends."

This is a fast, satisfying cowl to knit. This pattern utilizes the Irish Mesh stitch. You'll love the final result! Perfect to showcase beautiful handpainted yarns.

While the scarf shown in the pattern is knit in fingering weight yarn, it can be knit using any weight yarn.  Use of sport weight, DK or worsted weight yarn will create a larger scarf.  Gauge will be determined by what kind of yarn and what size needles you use.
