Pollikeet Shawl
by Erin Westmoreland
"The Pollikeet Shawl is the perfect pattern for the knitter looking to up their lace prowess. The body is knit in back-and-forth rows and starts with a fun and unique mesh stitch, followed by a simple diamond pattern. The edging is a bit more intricate and is knit separately and attached as it is worked. This is a pattern that will hold your interest and build your skills."

by Jatta Saukko
This pattern is truly beautiful and it reminds me of Fall. It is the perfect accessory for jeans and skirts. It's a super quick kit which takes only one skein. It also looks super cute in boots!
Mixed Wave
by Sybil R.

"This cowl is knitted in a rhomboid shape that is grafted at the shorter end. The wavy design is created by stacks of short rows interspersed with full garter stitch rows of a contrasting color."

Yarn Shop News
The chilly weather is about here! The Farmer's Almanac says we are going to have a cold Winter! Are you busy knitting away? We are! Come in to see our latest display of all our yummy squishy goodness.

And our new Downton Abbey display

Hope to see you soon!

Willow Cowl

This project is perfect for that single skein of sock yarn that you simply don't want to use for socks. Instead, display its beautiful colours around your neck to be in view all day long! This cowl scarf is ideal for dressing up a tank top or t-shirt on those cold winter nights, or for wearing with a jacket in the cooler seasons. It looks complex, but it is simply a combination of regular knit stitches, a basic decrease stitch, and yarn-overs.

This lace hat was inspired by my two favorite things about the fall: cool, crisp weather, and beautifully-colored leaves. Worked in either worsted or chunky weight yarn, it is soft and warm, and perfect for covering your ears on blustery autumn days. The subtle variations in the kettle dyed yarn enhance the rustic leaf pattern.

This pattern is perfect to knit with our new Lorna's Laces Fisherman's Wool.

500 Yards Per Skein!

Worn as a cozy poncho or floaty skirt, Pixie will win the hearts of princesses young and old! Pixie features easy to knit scalloped lace and an eyelet neckline with a pretty bow. Worked in Comfy Bulky on large needles, Pixie works up quickly and makes a great weekend project that is sure to please.

Pattern is only $1.99 on Ravelry

'No, I was merely reading the Muggle magazines,' said Dumbledore. 'I do love knitting patterns."

Patterns of the Week
Winter Warmer Hat

These simple and classic winter hats are so easy to knit, the hardest thing you'll have to do is pick a color.
Great holidays gifts!

Cheri McEewn had the brilliant idea of working on a series of projects based on Defiance. This project is based on the multiple species having to work together to make one cohesive community. Each one is different, but they go together really well. This project can be made without any dropped stitches, all dropped stitches, or occasional dropped stitches.
Leafy Baby Blanket

A quick project on larger needles, using two strands of yarn. I was inspired to make it as my good friend was having a baby, and the nursery theme was "In the Woods".
It's a lace pattern that uses left and right slanting decreases on both right and wrong side rows. The pattern has both charted and written instructions.
